A field trip to a charcoal factory. Mangrove trees are used to make the charcoals. A briefing was given by the Forestry Deparment's officers.

why trees cut down? Shouldn't they be keep as they are?

The trees are the source of income for the folks there it seems.
Maybe the government should find other alternatives for income for these people.

Pokok paya bakau tidak patut dipotong sebegitu sahaja. Kita perlu ada pemantauan dari pihak berkuasa untuk memastikan tidak berlaku sebarang pemotongan pokok secara tidak sistematik.
